U-PICK 2026...MAKING MEMORIES AT MIDFIELD LAVENDER FARM

Join us for our 2026 U-Pick, June 4th-28th at Midfield Lavender Farm, Bulls Gap, TN. 

Pre-season: May Gift Shop hours
 (open Wednesdays-Fridays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm)
New this year! Our indoor gift shop will open in May, Wednesdays thru Fridays from 10:00 am-3:00 pm.

Free admission during May-no tickets required.
The gift shop features handmade Lavender products from Midfield Farm and from local artisans including soap, pottery, baskets, locally produced honey, and hand-painted items. A variety of potted lavender plants will also be available for purchase. It is a beautiful time to visit the farm-flowers are starting to bloom and Spring is in the air.

U-Pick Season: JUNE 4th-28th (closed on Mondays)

Join us for our 2026 U-Pick events, June 4th-28th at Midfield Lavender Farm, Bulls Gap, TN. Tickets are $10 + tax and include a serving of fresh lavender lemonade or a lavender sachet. Children 12 and under are free with paid adult ticket. Whether you're a lavender enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply looking for a fun, relaxing experience, there's something for everyone at Midfield Lavender Farm's U-Pick.

Enjoy the fragrant scents while walking through rows of lavender. Experience cutting fresh lavender bundles ($5/bundle) and homemade lavender lemonade on our extended porch. The farm also provides a beautiful backdrop for pictures in the lavender fields and surrounding mountains. The gift shop will be open through the U-pick season.

New this year! We will be adding a few more wildflower trails around the farm. We have also converted part of our barn into a welcome pavilion. Also, expect to see a few additional vendors in the gift shop this year.

Reminders: These are rain or shine events. We recommend closed toes shoes, hat, sunscreen, and appropriate rain gear. Under severe weather conditions tickets will be honored on alternative days.

1. Where is Midfield Lavender Farm located?
Midfield Lavender Farm is located in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, in the heart of East Tennessee’s scenic countryside. The address is 1871 Bulls Gap, TN 37711. It is a short two minute drive from exit 30 right off of I-81 (Love’s truck stop right off this exist). 
2. What is Midfield Lavender Farm?
We are a working lavender farm offering seasonal U-pick events. In 2026, we are open from June 4th for June 28th for U-pick. Tickets will be available starting in early March, 2026. See website for details. 
3. When are you open to the public?
Our public hours vary by season. During May, our giftshop will be open Wednesdy-Friday’s from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission is Free to the farm during May and tickets are not required. The giftshop will offer Lavender products and crafts from local artisans. A good variety of Lavender plants will also be available from our green house. 
Tickets are required for our U-Pick season from June 4th-June 28th.  The farm is closed on Mondays.  
4. Do I need a reservation to visit?
Yes, tickets are required for U-Pick season June 4th-June 28th. Tickets can be purchased on-site if available. Weekends and morning times typically sellout. 
5. What is the best time of year to visit?
Lavender typically blooms late spring through early summer. The farm is open June 4th -June 28th. Also, you will enjoy a variety of naturally growing wildflowers and the expansive wildflower trails on the farm. A short hike with beautiful flowers and great views .

6. When is lavender in bloom?
Peak bloom usually occurs from late May through June, though timing may vary year to year.
7. What types of lavender do you grow?
We grow Grosso, Royal Velet, Riverina Thomas, Bridget Chloe, Big Time Bleu, Hidcote Giant, Provence and Folgate
8. Is Midfield Lavender Farm a working farm?
Yes. Lavender is planted, maintained, harvested, and processed right here on the farm.
9. Can I learn about how lavender is grown?
Yes. We enjoy sharing information about planting, harvesting, and caring for llavender.
10. Do you use pesticides or chemicals? No. We are organic but not certified.

U-Pick & Farm Activities

11. Do you offer U-pick lavender?
Yes, from June 4th-June 28th. Tickets are required. See midfieldfarm.com website for more information. 
12. How does U-pick work?
Guests are provided with instructions and tools needed. You tickets include a serving a fresh lavender infused lemonade, access to the farm, lavender fields, wildflower trails, and photography. Lavender bundles are $5/ea. Also, we have a gift shop with lavender themed gifts and crafts from local artisans. A variety of potted lavender plants are also available. 
13. Is there an additional fee for U-pick?
Tickets for U-pick visits are $10/pp with discounts available for groups. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult. Groups of 10 or more receive a 20% discount with advanced reservations. Bundles of lavender are $5.00.
14. Are there guided tours?
Guided tours and short programs are available for group visits.
15. Do you host workshops or classes?

Photography & Social Media

26. Is photography allowed?
Casual photography is welcome for personal use. We encourage guests to post those pictures on facebook and Instagram. 
27. Do you allow professional photography sessions?
Yes, we work with a number of professional photographers during the golden hours 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in season. Other shoots can be scheduled off-season. Professional sessions are priced by the hour. Clients of photographers are not charged an entry fee and can visit our gift shop during their visit. 
28. Can I use photos for commercial purposes?
Commercial photography or videography must be arranged in advance.
29. Are drones allowed?
For safety and privacy reasons, drones are allowed only during designated times with advance notice. 
30. Can I tag the farm on social media?
Absolutely! We love seeing and sharing guest photos.

Policies & Accessibility

31. Is the farm family-friendly?
Yes, children are welcome with adult supervision.
32. Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed during U-pick events. Havest Hosts RVers’ are allowed to have friendly pets on a leash during their overnight stays.
